Most of the time, when car air con stops working, the gas has leaked out. It is illegal to regas a system with a known leak because the gas harms the environment. So we always find and fix the leak first, then regas your car.
To find the leak, we run the same checks as our AC service. That includes a computer scan, a pressure test and a close look at every hose, joint and connection. Once we find it, we'll call you, explain the fix and confirm any extra cost before we start.
After the leak is repaired, we regas your system with the correct gas and oil for your vehicle, using the R1234yf gas for newer European models. We then add dye so any future leak is easy to spot.
